EARTHCHILDREN A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

EARTHCHILDREN

EarthChildren is a US 501(c)(3) global charitable organisation established to deliver critical and foundational services to vulnerable women and orphaned children in impoverished communities with a focus on refugee camps. The primary goals of EarthChildren are to build capacity within these communities, develop sustainable living standards, and provide opportunities to grow and thrive for the individual and wider community while restoring balance with our environment.

BUILDING INSPIRED & SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES IN BALANCE WITH PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT

EarthChildren was established in 2020 in response to a need for a holistic and long-term vision to restore balance and justice to the vulnerable, marginalized, and persecuted. EarthChildren has two program ‘arms’ – Project Humanity and Project Sustainable Cities. Project Humanity delivers life supports including education, nutritious food, clean water, sustainable shelter, and clothing. Project Humanity was created with the fundamental intention of improving the mental health of both the individual and the community in which we work. Project Sustainable Cities provides green living infrastructure in the form of sustainable, renewable, and habitable homes. It was developed with the intention of creating improved and sustainable living standards that continue across generations and are in balance with the planet. All programs are built on sustainability and ESG principles. Together, these two ‘arms’ build a holistic and sustainable foundation to live life and to thrive. Our work supports 11 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. EarthChildren was first established in the world’s largest refugee camp in Bangladesh.

OUR PARTNERS

EarthChildren works in partnership with six symbiotic and interconnected entities known as Earth Inbalance Group. Each entity plays a vital role in fulfilling the Group’s long-term vision: To maximize green revenue production across landscapes where wildlife and community thrive, and to restore balance between business and the planet. Together the Group creates an innovative regenerative social impact business model that brings climate, community, land, and wildlife to the forefront of commercial business, thus establishing a paradigm shift in the way business is conducted. Established in 2020, World Wildlife Rescue, WWR, is a US §501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to develop and implement effective wildlife conservation strategies – supporting in situ wildlife now while planning for their future. WWR is governed by a strong board of directors that oversees a global team with qualifications and experience in climate change mitigation, conservation biology, land management, political science, human services, business, and human rights law. WWR works in partnership with EarthChildren Rescue Inc. to deliver holistic conservation outcomes that support both our wildlife and people alike. Their mission is three-fold.

Restoring Landscapes. Restoring unity and balance to our beautiful planet is at the heart of everything we do. By identifying competing interests between wildlife and people we can support resource availability such as space, water, and food, thereby increasing needs met and thus reducing conflict.

In Situ Wildlife Conservation. Keystone, umbrella, and environmental indicator species play significant roles on planet Earth. By bringing aid and resources to these endangered species, we seek to conserve their wild environment and maximize their ability to thrive.

Animal Welfare. We believe that animals have rights and deserve to be treated as equals, despite their perceived economic or commercial value. We act on this through education, rescue, rehabilitation, and protection.

EarthChildren and WWR presently partner to deliver critical humanitarian work in Southeastern Bangladesh. Together their work aims to uplift, support, and protect the endangered and persecuted Rohingya people in the world’s largest refugee camp and the critically endangered Asian elephant in the Cox’s Bazar/Hill Tracts region.
